Plant Controller

Job Responsibilities

Financial professional with expertise in developing and maintaining standard costs.
Capable of linking operational metrics to plant performance.
As a member of the plant management team, this position is expected to engage fully in the running of the plant to meet financial objectives.
Position reports to the Plant Manager with a strong dotted line to the Division Controller.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in accounting or Bachelor degree in finance with accounting through cost and intermediate
At least seven years of accounting experience with a minimum of three years as a plant controller in a repetitive product manufacturing environment. Relevant experience in a cost accounting/manufacturing role may be considered in lieu of controllership responsibility
Demonstrated ability to link and analyze plant operational metrics to financial performance
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to share knowledge at appropriate levels of the organization
Customer focused with strong attention to detail and capable of delivering accurate, quality results in a timely, consistent, and professional manner
Strong interpersonal and team building skills including the ability to interact comfortably and respectfully with all levels of plant and corporate personnel
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
