Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll.
  • Oversees the calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Ensures that payments and government reports are disbursed timely and accurately.
  • Establishes policies and procedures for the payroll function.

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

Payroll Specialist

Job Responsibilities

  • Computes and disburses wages and salaries, deductions, taxes and other withholdings.
  • Posts payroll data and prepares routine reports and/or payments to government agencies, insurance companies and others.
  • Calculates and processes special checks, reviews, edits and makes corrections and adjustments as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years payroll or related experience
