AccountSource, Inc. is looking for a Staffing Specialist to join our Temporary Staffing division. The Staffing Specialist is accountable for achieving temporary sales goals and temporary-to-hire fees through the following key areas: Recruiting, Staffing, & Operations
Responsibilities:
Actively recruit qualified Accounting professionals through the use of direct recruiting, internet, referral programs and networking in the business community
Conduct interviews and skill assessments on recruited candidates, including behavioral interviews, technical skill testing and reference checking
Place appropriately skilled candidates on temporary assignments and conduct quality control calls on all orders
Negotiate appropriate pay rates for temporary employees and bill rates for clients
Manage employees assigned to temporary projects and provide ongoing coaching, counseling and career support
Communicate various aspects of temporary staffing division operations to ensure compliance with established goals and objectives
Conduct research on prospective and current customers
Conduct proactive business development efforts including marketing, in-person client meetings, client lunches and further penetrating existing client accounts
Maintain client satisfaction through follow up and quality control activities for temporaries on assignment
Maintain key metrics such as high fill ratio, interview activities and business development activities
Provide customers with appropriate information on trends relating to the Accounting profession and staffing related issues (salary surveys, etc..)
Participate in local professional, business and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition
Requirements:
Four-year college degree or equivalent business experience
Minimum of two years of business experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Prior staffing and/or recruiting experience a plus. An accountant with a sales personality can be an excellent fit as well.
